Family Blessing In The Rainy Northwest!

As everybody knows, Bruce was hired on at Kirkland Police Dept in September and we made the big trek out here to rainy, but beautiful Seattle. We are living in an absolute gem of a house in a neighborhood called, "English Hill". Philippe and Bruno are adjusting well as they have a Haven of a backyard and our fenced in backyard is backed right up to a greenbelt. We have beautiful walking trails through out the community. Just so breathtaking and peaceful. Our biggest blessing is of course the fact that we finally live around family!!! It's been so wonderful watching Hannah interact with her aunties and her Nana, and great grandmum and Jim. Seeing so much family has been sureal and cherished by us all. It's been pretty fun to finally have date night Bruce and I. Hannah is really coming into her own. Her personality is forming everyday. She cracks not only us up, but herself. More words are being said, and she's so bright. I looked over the other day and saw her scooping cat food into Philippe's cat food bowl. She is seriously in love with Winnie the Pooh. The books, music, figurines, movie (the original classic of course). She calls them by name; Boop=Pooh, Wowl= Owl, Piggy=Piglet, Woow=Rooh, Eeoh=Eeyore. She is now loving the Olivia books too. I absolutely melt when I look over and she's sitting in the corner reading a book (well flipping through paiges) by herself. Quiet and content. However, she hasn't quite mastered putting all the books back into the shelf...we'll get there. Bruce is working hard with his training. We are so so proud of him. It's tough being the new guy, that's for sure! Keep him in your prayers please! We hope everyone enjoys the begining of the festive season! We are looking forward to it! Love and blessings to everyone!

Our little Family

Summer is here and the sun is shining and we are all enjoying the nice weather. Especially our little Hannah who's favorite activity is being outdoors. She's walking all over the place and is definitely into everything! She's learning what she is and isn't aloud to do and trying to adjust to it. She says "hi" all the time. She will growl like a lion when you ask her what a lyon says. She pants like a puppy and sort of meows when asked about a puppy and kitty. She is now moving onto ssssssssss when you ask what a snake says. Too cute. She is absolutely smitten by Bruno and Philippe. We just got back from a wonderful trip to Seattle enjoying spending family time and celebrating Hannah's first birthday. We had so many family members that made that extra effort to come and to share such an occasion. We are so enjoying watching our little girl smile and laugh and share her personality with us. She is an absolute angel and joy! We are blessed!

A New Year Full of Blessings

This is such a wonderful time in our lives. Hannah is absolutely a joy. She brings so much laughter and happiness into our home. Her personality is incredible. She smiles and laughs and plays peek-a-boo, and is learning how to wave. She calls for "mama" when she has a spill or tumble and likes to ramble "dada" when she feels like it. She has learned how to use her sippy cup, eats her cut up toast and pieces of turkey lunch meat. She loves bread, puffs, freeze dried fruit, and cottage cheese. She is crawling all over the place, so speedy indeed. She pulls herself up and walks herself around the furniture. She also walks and pushes a rolling toy that helps her with her walking and balance. She has 3 teeth. 2 bottom, and 1 top. The 2nd top tooth is coming in next. She sleeps beautifully through the night and the only noise she makes when I put her to bed is a little giggle and smile as I tell her I love her and close the door. Just a little angel. I cannot believe she is 9 1/2 months old. She is a dream. Here are a few pictures of her. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Fun, Fun, Fun!!!

So, little Hannah and her buddy Jacob had fun spending time together saturday night. She just adores other babies and children. I adore watching her get so excited and interact. She's so precious. Everyday she does the cutest new additions. She's into trying out new little laughs, and makes this really soft, song like talking when she's alone in her crib. Like she is talking to herself, or singing. She is also really into running around the island in my kitchen in her rolling walker. She used to be so reserved and hesitant about it. Now, she's walking and racing around in it. She is so funny, and is growing so incredibly fast!!! Well, I gave her her first bang trim. I knew it was overdue, but just wasn't ready to cut those little tiny soft wispies. She did great, and after I realized how much she needed it. Ok, well enjoy!

Ok, so I'm really sorry it's been a while since I've updated. I feel like the last 2 months have just flown by, and we've really had a lot going on. I will try my hardest to do better about updating with photos and such. Unfortunately, Bruce's grandmother died in October, and the 3 of us flew out to Cleveland for her funeral and to spend time with family. It was wonderful spending time together as a family. Hannah got to meet all of her aunts and uncles and cousins, and other relatives. We spent a week in Cleveland, and really enjoyed spending time with one another. All the cousins were so precious with Hannah. Playing with her, feeding her, and rolling around on the ground with her. We have some darling pictures to share. Auntie Lizzy came for Halloween weekend and we had a blast. Hannah took to her as always and it didn't even phase her that she hadn't seen her in 2 months. We had a small Halloween party this year and had some close friends over. Even Hannah's friend, Braelyn (who is 2 days older than Hannah) was able to come. Hannah was a ladybug this year. I had fun making Hannah's costume. She was so cute. The Antennas and wings didn't stay on too long, but she sure looked cute. I'm really getting excited for the holidays coming up. I can't believe Thanksgiving is in 2 weeks! I'll keep you all posted!

Hannah's first dolly!

Ok, so yes, Hannah has received her very first dolly. And, yes she looks just like Hannah. Hannah is so cute with her. Running her fingers along her hair and ponytails, and sucking on her head of course. What a joy motherhood is watching my beautiful daughter play with her first doll.

So big, so fast!

Ok, our little Hannah bear is getting so big, and I just need her to stay little. She's such a little sweetie pie. My girlfriend Taylor came out to see us for the day and it was so wonderful to spend some time together. Thank you for driving out to see us!
